Artist Studio Residency Program with Wyanne
Due to Wyanne's weakened immune system from cancer treatment, this program is canceled until further notice due to Covid 19. Stay safe everyone!
Work privately in the studio with Wyanne. Get one on one help, assistance, coaching and techniques from Wyanne. This program is tailored to your needs and interests. Wyanne will talk with you before your residency about your project and what you hope to accomplish. Supplies will be discussed prior to the residency. Some supplies will be available for use, depending on your needs and interests. Wyanne will provide some substrates (canvas, wood panels, paper) for your use. But, if you are extremely prolific, additional substrates will need to be brought with you, shipped prior to your arrival, or purchased from Wyanne. It is also advisable to bring any favorite brushes with you. You will have 24 hour access to the studio and have Wyanne available 10am-6pm each day for help, assistance, and demos. Please note that you are expected to work on your own during some of that time, with Wyanne close by if you need her. She will be also checking on you periodically. This is a great way to find your own voice in your painting, learn new techniques, complete a large body of work, and get one on one mentoring for your art and business. The residency is for 1, 2 or 3 days. Lunch is provided each day. Yoga classes (donation-based) are available by Wyanne's studio in the mornings and late afternoons. Arrangements can be made to ship your artwork back to your home, if you are unable to take it back with you.

A note from Wyanne about the Studio Residency Program
I prefer to work one on one with artists rather than group workshops. It's easier for me with my speech impediment. Don't worry, once you've been around me a little, it's easier to understand how I talk. Plus my wonderful assistant will be around some to help. There's nothing more that I love than working to help you identify the strengths in your work, and what makes your work "yours". I want you to paint with passion and create art that resonates from your soul. I love showing you tons of techniques that you can use in your art, and answer questions regarding the professional side or art. How to market your work, get your work into galleries, etc. You and I just hang out and paint for however long you want. We take breaks and can run up to the local coffee shop or over to the beautiful botanical gardens just a few minutes away from my studio. My studio is surrounded by a beautiful lush grounds. Weather permitting, I love to paint outside under the canopy of trees. I promise it will be a blast. We'll laugh, paint our hearts out, and maybe even shed a few happy tears in the process. You'll walk away feeling proud and confident in your work and I'll be sad to see you go. I always want everyone to stay because it's so much fun! LOL If you have any questions, just shoot me an email anytime.
